Battery Operated Smoke Alarm
Understanding the importance of smoke detectors is an important step in ensuring that your family stays safe. Smoke alarms installed in your home are a critical part of any fire safety strategy. It’s essential to have them properly positioned and maintained so they are functioning efficiently.
Smoke detectors are now embedded in virtually every new home and office across the country. From small offices to large multi-story buildings, fire safety engineers have installed smoke detectors on every floor of the building, including the basement. These devices serve as an early warning system for emergencies and allow our customers to detect fires at their very early stages when it’s easier to extinguish them.
Since smoke detectors in general don’t use a lot of power, many of these battery-powered models require very little maintenance on a yearly basis & are beneficial in general.
Description
The smoke alarm is battery operated and has a photoelectric sensing technology. When the smoke concentration reaches above the average threshold or when someone presses the test button, an alarm goes off and it’s quite alarming too! However once the alarm detects that there is no more smoke around or if you let go of the test button, it resumes its normal mode.
